Sonora - Ultrasound Therapy Device

The Sonora is a programmable unit for ultrasonic transducers designed to operate within working frequencies ranging from 1 to 3 MHz.

The unit is available in two versions: one with automatic tuning, intended for ultrasonic transducers within the 1 MHz - 3 MHz range, and a combined version (Combi) with automatic tuning that enables the use of ultrasonic transducers in the same range alongside electrotherapy currents.

Through the Sonora, it is possible to deliver continuous or modulated ultrasound, with programmable intensity and application time, tailored for deep thermotherapy treatments aimed at addressing various pathological conditions.

The Sonora transducer handpieces can be used underwater.

Sonora Cryo is equipment based on the synergy of two therapeutic techniques: cryotherapy and ultrasound therapy, significantly amplifying the healing effects of each method. Cold ultrasound therapy is highly effective for treating inflammatory and painful conditions. The anti-inflammatory action of ultrasound combines with the analgesic, anti-edema, and pain-relieving effects of cryotherapy, producing various types of effects: thermal, mechanical, cavitation, biological, and phonophoresis. It is used as an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, for reducing edema, and combating muscle contractures.
